Need help with my car audio system

I currently have a Kicker 2400 watt amp with two 12 inch kicker comp Rs. I want to upgrade my door speakers but I'm not sure if I should install an amp for them or not. If I do its going to be a 600 watt 4 channel AB amp. My question is should I upgrade my battery and alternator and if so how do I know what to get and also I'm new to the whole setting up your door speakers to an amp and not really sure how to. I drew a picture of how I'm going to set it up but not really sure it will work or if i should upgrade my battery and alternator. I'm really tempted to not even hook them up to an amp but then there's not really a point to upgrading because the head unit only puts out 55x4 watts and the speakers are 125 watts rms and with the amp it will be putting out 75x4 watts.

What should I do and the drawing of how I will set it up.

I can't tell you what your going to need as far as power but I can tell you that if you upgrade your speakers and don't amp them you will not be happy with them.

Do I have to connect the speakers to the HU and the amp or just connect the speakers directly to the amp then the RCAS to the HU and leave the factory speakers harness disconnected? I can hook up subs and everything else but I'm new to door speakers I haven't bought anything yet because I don't know what to look for Im probably just going to go with the kicker cs65 for 70 dollars a pair I found

Door spkrs > 4 channel amp > headunit...

If you try connecting to both amp and headunit you will short alot of things since its two power sources

Ditch the stock speaker harness, run rca from head unit to amp, then speaker wire from amp to new speakers. The stock speaker harness can just stay wherever it is, in the door, and not attached.

The way in the picture is the way I would do it...and I would get a dry cell battery and possibly a higher output alternator
