Need help with loose subwoofer response

I had a certificate in my box from kicker itself saying it makes at 670rms @ 2 ohms .. its sent, out for a warranty replacement because I ran it at 1 ohm but I should have it by Monday or Tuesday. I'll send you a picture of the certificate.
Thats called a birth sheet, its whatever kicker tests on their bench in their factory not from cea, you dont link the two together.

then my apologies I am misinformed. is there any way I can tell if an amp, puts out what it says it does then? because I've relied on cea when,0picking out amps for the past 8 months

It will be different with each setup. Read up on box/impedance rise, that will also factor in your real world power output.

Tests on benches and amplifier dynos(d amore amp dyno tests) will not tell you how much power you will actually get when it's in your vehicle and electrical system. It is still a way to measure how much power the amp will do at specified ohm loads. You need to do research and if you have the amp, look up on how to do clamp tests to see how much power you are actually running.

some of the best competition amps on the market are not CEA and they are winning every lane in spl competitions and they can even be ran at .5 ohms too.

Rockford, alpine, kicker, jl amps are decent amps but a lot of times are very overpriced, not very worth unless you get an amazing deal

Sundown, incriminator, ct sounds, DC, soundqubed, digital designs, mmats, american bass vfls, are all proven amps in the competition lanes since in competitions they clamp your amps to place you in a certain class sometimes and those amps get clamped a lot.

thanks man I'll do more reading into it. my hifonics 1400.1 amp was cea and they couldn't,push my Rockford p3s at 1400rms nearly as well as this ct sounds 500.1 does. so I guess that says something
