the big 3 is an upgrade in the wire size, will give you more power flow, check the big 3 sticky thread on the top of the wiring and electrical forum

Ehh, if I never heard of "the big 3", how would I even know to search and read it? Do you actually expect a newbie to read every freakin sticky and posts before asking a question? Gimme a break mon, you were once a newbie too.
