This was just what I was looking for , thanks. I didn't think I'd ever find it, even using the search function.take a relay: 87 and 86 to ground, 85 take to your amp turn-on wire, and 30 goes to your parking brake wire and you dont need a toggle switch. This is also work on the AVHP4000 Pioneer. hope this helped!
connect the e-brake wire to your ground wire coming off the deck. It's what i do and its worked on a sony, jensen, jvc and dual. im not sure about the pioneer, but its worth a tryIs there any way to wire a relay to the switch so tha the bypass happens automatically??
That would work with older Pioneers but all the new models have to see a ground pulse, so to do it the easy way you will need a toggle switch, but you will have to manually do this every time you start the car to bypass the unit.easiest thing to do is ground the wire that runs to the parking brake usually a pink wire. ground that and you should be good man
my doesnt. i just have it to the ground, i think? Maybe i put it to a power wire, but i was pretty sure its on the ground. what model do you havefor jensen it has to see the pulse, I use a momentary normally closed switch
