hey guys im considering buying two 15" Kicker L7 Solobarics & two Kicker KX1200.1 Class D Amps or two 12" L7s and one KX1200.1, can you tell me what would be good quality front and rear speakers, component sytems to get for this. I need //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/help.gif.cee8f684da1ba626487a8bc51152e1ec.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

im looking for 5 X 7s to fit in my 96 explorer sport. and i want to hook them up to an exterenal amp. its no budget really, jus clear and quality inside speakers to be heard good over all the bass. i was looking to get some kicker components speakers, ya know jus go with Kicker for everything but im just getting opinions to help me decide. if you could help out id appreciate it.

its no budget really,
Well, in that case I'd recommend you go pick up two pair of Rainbow Reference components (cost $6,000 each), and two Audison Thesis amps to power them ($16,000 each).

We need to know your budget (an actual dollar amount), so we know what price range of products are within your financial capabilities.

Kicker is a decent choice. Though, without a budget to work with, we can't really recommend anything else.......

oh ok my bad man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif but any decent pair of speakers or components between $100-400

first off, i think u should ditch the 5x7s and get an adapter to fit 6.5s.

arc acs

id chameleons

rainbow SL

oz matrix

alpine type x

im just spacing out on everything else.

where can i get speaker adapters from? where would i put them at?...i didnt know about adapters but do they fit in the regular speaker slots/compartments? i have a 96 ford explorer sport so would they fit?

Speaker adaptors basically just fit over your factory speaker openings to allow you to put a different sized speaker in there. Check around to your local shops to see if they have any. If not, you could always make your own out of MDF wood.

However, if you don't want to go through the trouble, I believe JL Audio, Boston Acoustics and a few other do make 5x7 component sets.
