need help with dampening

I ordered 40 sq ft of second skin damplifier... now i just help installing it in my trunk... I have a 98 civic and it has all kinds of waves in the trunk lid how much should i use where? Thanks in advance for any help.

just start with a single layer on the whole trunk lid, use a rubber or wood roller to secure the mat to the lid. then add more layers where necessary.

im not sure how that second skin works, but i know with my phat matt and dynomat, it is much easier to work with the stuff when it is warm. i would recommend heating the tar side with a hair dryer before applying it to ur car.
