does anyone know the exact mounting depth of the Front door speaker spots.. i wanna get the Limited Edition Carbon Fiber High Definition Component Speakers - SUPER SPECIAL! HD-62CF 6.5" 2-way Component System (pair) 130 watts RMS speakers on this websites....

and it says that the speaker mounting depth for those is 2 3/4".... will that fit in the door right? Im ordering them for x-mas so i need to know quick! THNX FOR YOUR HELP GUYS!

This doesn't have the mounting depth but it does show what fits. Hope that helps, I'll keep looking.

pull your stock speaker out and measure its depth. that should tell you if your unsure.

Here's what i was able to find:

1 speaker that fits for ur car top mounting depth is 1 and 11/16" and bottom mounting depth not found and the CDT carbon fibers are 2 and 3/4" mounting depth for the mid-woofer.

So, i'm gonna guess that u need a spacer for the speakers.

Anyone else feel free to jump in as i may be totally wrong

According to Sounddomain.com they will fit fine. The CDT's mounting depth is 2 7/8", the ID's I selected for your car on SD.com were 3" mounting depth. Hope that helps.

Did those CDT HD-62CF 6.5" 2-way Component System speakers fit?

I ask because I have a 1995 civic LX and want to put the same speakers in my front doors.

I also looked at some specks and I thought I saw that those speakers are 180 watts not 130. Are the specks I saw wrong?
