Need help with CD Player

I had a 08 Mustang with the 4 speaker system and installed a Alpine Deck on it. Well i traded in my 08 and got a 09 but it has the shaker 500 system and i tried to install the alpine deck it fits in the harnest but the cd player wont even power on. Does anybody have any ideas?

Wrong harness, possibly? Even thought it fits, it may not be the right one.

Check and see if the harnesses vary for the two different vehicles/stock systems.

Grounding the head unit "the black wire" don't use the black wire in the harness its a false ground.Believe me I have done plenty and it wont turn on because it needs to be grounded something with the fords I don't know why.

I checked the harnest the only difference is the shaker system need a seperate small harnest to send the signal to the stock amp but i will try a different ground thanks for the help
