Need help with an Amp

I have 2 12in MTX 9500's and I was told to get the BAMF 5500.1d, guy at best buy said that amp is real serious, is it true or is there an amp equal to that i can go buy?

that amp is junk,doesn't do even close to rated and very dirty power .how much you looking to spend for a new amp?

well first of all , dont talk to the best buy guy's ,they dont know shlt about good car audio,anytime i go back to the shop at my local best buy for anything ,usually an adapter , the guys look in my truck and then look like this :drool:so anyway i have a brand new dc 2.0 amp for your subs ,2600 watts rms or in best buy terms 5200 watts 575 shipped and it does have a 1 year warranty .i ship ups or usps fully insured and tracked .you'd get it in 1 week at the latest.
