Boston Accoustics GTA-800M VS Rockford Fosgate T500-1BD

I found a great deal on a Rockford Fosgate T500-bd. It's only $80. Now i already have a Boston GTA-800m, and I know that the boston is rated for 300 watts more, but the Rockford is a much better quality amp. It wold be powering a Sundown SA-12. Is it worth the switch?

Boston is every bit as good a brand as RF the last 5 years.

If it was me I might buy the RF to resell (not here, you already said what you're paying!), but stick with the Boston, its a good brand.

Yeah I think I will stay with the Boston. I thought the Power series was greatly underrated, but I guess not by 300 watts.

They also have an old school RF Punch 3002. Its $60. I just bought an Aura RPM 2300. Would the RF be better than that?

Good thing u got some other opinions first. The Aura and the BA amps are just hard to beat for the prices. Not to say RF amps are bad, but I'd def go Boston or Aura over RF amps anyday (obviously from my amps in my sig lol) unless I needed like 1500+ wrms

Yeah I just thought old school RF are great amps, so I thought the punch would be better than the Aura, and I thought the Power series is some of the best amps in the world. I guess more watts is still more important hey. I may Pick up the Power series just to try and resell.

I love my GTA-1000m (same thing as 800m for the most part).
