So i have 2 subs hooked to an amplifier right now, i want to also hook my 2 or 4 door speakers to an amplifier also. So i know i can't use the amp that is hooked to the subs, but i have another amplifier i can use. But my question is how would i hook it all together so that my subs stay on one amp and my speakers go to the other? I would like a nice diagram to show how. and no i don't want to use a capacitor as it is not needed. any help is appreciated!

Honestly u could have googled this first and then created a thread with clarification questions. This answer is probably super drawn out diagrammed on crutchfield. If your headunit is aftermarket you run rca cables from the preouts in the back of the headunit (labeled front/rear). Your existing sub amp would likely be plugged into the sub pre out. If your headunit is factory and you have an line out converter check to see if it is a multichannel(needs to be 5 or 6). Also, if your 4 channel amp is newer, check to see if your amp takes low level (speaker) factory inputs and converts to high level outputs. If so u can use it as is and leave everything else alone. If none of those options work and your hu is factory you can replace whatever is connecting your sub amp to the factory headunit with a module like this:

Good luck

Ok so power wise i just run another one to the battery but how about rca? i only have 2 rca pre outs on the head unit?
Any head unit with only 1 pair of RCA is really bottom of the barrel. I'd encourage you to upgrade, but otherwise you could get y splitters and some smaller RCAs to split the signal to feed 2 amps.

Here is my thought, theory. Those speakers are 80w rms. Half of that is 40w rms. Add the 40 to the 80 and you get 120w. Get an amp that is 120w...
