Need help with a new setup

Hey guys, first time posting. I am new to this whole sound system thing, and I lack a lot of the do it yourself knowledge necessary to do this alone. Currently running a Powerbass ASA 400.2 amplifier which runs my 2 12" Kicker sub woofers. I want to look into another amp for my 6x9 Kenwood speakers. So my question is as follows: What kind of setup would I need to run amps for both my sub woofers and speakers?

I can do my best to accurately tell you specs as they are needed to make a better and more informative decision. I'm looking for quality sound for a fair price tag, so nothing terribly expensive, but trying to get my money's worth. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

keep the powerbass amp for your 6x9 speakers and get a mono block amp for your woofers

Okay, sounds good so far. I'm not looking for a real deep bass out of my subs. Kind of like not constantly having it on low pass filter.
