in my 03 Escalade using my Eclipse AVN6600 Everything was good until my See down button stopped responding. (was using SWI-ECL)
So I figured it was time to upgrade to the ECL2 unit.
I can get ti to work at all.
I wire it up just like Im supposed to (identical to the ECL1)
When I begin to program I get odd results.
Version # accepts.
When I start to program buttons I do them in order Vol up then Vol down, Mode, Seek up and Seek down
Sometimes when I get to Vol down My onstar starts and shuts my head unit off. I have to start over. ( i dont even use Onstar)
other times I get half way through the programming and the LED starts to flash 3 times , then 3 times again, then steady-and sends my Volume to the max.
I called PAC and they said I have a bad unit.
Has anyone seen this or can help me
