I got a set of these baby's...

now i need a box. they are gonna go into a 2002 sunfire. here is a pdf to the specs of the subs. they are the 104 ones and i want the high power specs. and the rectangular port

well im not sure, but what ive been reading is that these subs require ALOT of space, so am i better off just building to the max of my trunk space?

since you want it ported give us how much room you got in your trunk then go from there....it says 1.78 ft3 so go with 2 or a little over....also it says coat the inside with fiberglass.....dont just get pollyfill i dunno how to figure out how many ft3 when its ported so.....just go with one of moelesters plans at the top of this thread area

What you don't know basic math?

Length x Width x Height = Volume in^3 /1728 = Volume ft^3

Then subtract the speaker and port displacement. It's not rocket science.

so by goin bythe box plans in the sticky, will this on be enough or will it be too big?

ill pay ya 10 bucks to design me a box thats 3.5 cubic feet tuned to 40HZ slot ported of course. i would need the design asap as my box builder is leaving the province for a few weeks soon.
