i had my brother pick up a few sheets of 3/4 the other day and now that i took a look at them i noticed they are all bowed. there isnt one single flat plane on any of them.

it seems like if they would store their pallets on a flat surface like the lumber yard they wouldnt have that problem. now i have to go back and return them and get the good stuff at the lumber yard.

HD gets a thumbs down, again.

Thats why you should check this before you buy them, I have bought all my MDF from there, never a problem...

well, my brother doesnt really have an eye for thoes things.

although, last time i went all their sheets were mildly bowed but when but up each panel of the box only deviated about 1/32 of an inch or less. im sure if i were to cut up these sheets some panels could be up to an 1/8 off.

over here in ny they **** at cutting the wood for you there machine always slants toward the end of the cut. other then that they o.k

I've never had a problem from there. Does your brother need glasses?

Thats why you should check this before you buy them, I have bought all my MDF from there, never a problem...

+1 I always have them cut it in half....never have them do all the cuts though, dont want to risk it...

Yeah always check both sides of the mdf, sometimes one side is perfect and the other is all chewed up. All of their panel saws cut crooked. Next time you are there look at the blades on them. I wouldn't make cuts with them if you paid me.

I get my boards cut into 1/3s just so that I can get it into my car. I hate their MDF, ours is always like flaky and crumbling, so I go to lowes.
