box too big?

I have 1 12" L7 in the box kicker made for the 05' L5 its like 2.5-3cuft vented and that combo sounds pretty good. I have a 4cuft vented box laying around and am thinking of trying it out. Does anyone have a 12' L7 or L5 in a 4cuft box? Is that too big? Think it will sound bad?
