need help wiring two amps to one sub

i have an re audio mx15 dvc 1/2ohm 1500 rms i currently have it wired down to 4 ohms to my arc audio 2500cxl which puts out 1050 rms at 4 ohms to one. now i want to know if i could add a 2100cxl that puts out i believe 380 rms at 4 ohms to the set up to help push my sub, and if i could, how would i wire it? and btw, does anybody have a kinetic hc--- battery? or would any old car battery work? cause my car clips pretty bad and i have a cap on there and i know cap sucks but thats what i have for now. any help would be nice.

How do you have a DVC .5 wired to a 4 ohm load?

I would not reccommend wiring two different amps to one sub. I see no problem strapping twho of the same amps together but not like you are wanting to do.

Just sell both amps and buy one larger one.

you can't add a different amp of a different type to the same sub.

i agree, your voice coil configuration is unclear. is it 1 ohm DVC or 2 ohm DVC? i assume it is 2 ohm DVC wired in series for 4 ohms. The amp is bridged for 4 ohm mono.

If so, you just need an amp that is 1 ohm stable and wire the coils in parallel for 1 ohm mono. Sell the amp and buy one that works for your intended purpose.

To the OP: You can't just throw amps on a sub for more power. You need to have 2 identical amps that are able to be strapped by either an OEM method or by using something like the Hifonics Maxx-Link.

i thought i would be able to since they were both cxls, but guess not, any buyers? the 2100cxl is brand new never used and the 2500cxl have been used for a couple weeks now.in nor cal area only for meetups though.
