First of all I dont get wtf

Sqrt(Power*Resistance) = Voltage

means. So im hoping you guys can help me.

Sub Amp-Clarion DPX 1000.2

Putting 2 RE 12 (4ohm DVC) this is how im going to wire them

2_4ohmDVC_4ohm.gif

My amp is

250x2 into 4ohms

450x2 into 2ohms

1000x1 into 2ohms

So if I wire the subs like I showed you and bridged it to the amp I would get about 500 to both subs or 250 to each, right?

Ok also how many volts(using that formula above) would I need to set my gain to?

Also should I switch the amp to Mono?

Ok now that thats over I just got in my Clarion APX 200.2 and PG ZR 6.5 Comps

PG=4 ohms each

Clarion=50x2 @ 4ohms

So how would I do that dam formula?

Sqrt(Power*Resistance) = Voltage

Sqrt(50*4) = 14.142735

Am I Right?

Dont wire the subs to a 4ohm mono load when you can get 450 to each sub. Wire each sub in its own parallel circuit and connect each to a channel of the amp. That is 450 to each sub since the amp is rated at 450X2 @ 2ohms.

As for the voltage, according to your formula, take the power you will be sending, which in the sub stage would be 900, multiply that by 2 and take the sqrt of 1800. Although I am not sure about what ohmage to use when doing a 2channel amp, I believe this is fine.
