Need help w/ SPL

Could someone who is very accurate for estimating spl levels or db levels tell me how this system would be if it was professionally installed? Please comment about it being reg. install, ported & sealed.

Head Unit - Pioneer DEH-P8400MP

Front Speakers - MB Quart 4x6 SN/DKD 146

Rear Speakers - (components) MB Quart SN/DSD 216

Sub Woofers - Kicker's LS7 SoloBarics (2)15in.

-would this system be a good one? Not just some crappy install? Would it be loud enough to crack someone's car window fully cranked? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

y are you putting comp. i n the back?!?!?!?, what amps do u plan to power everything with, what vehicle is this going in, what kinda box....you get all the info we could get pretty close

its just plain retarded to put comp. in the back whoever told you that is an idiot....if you were supposed to put em in the back wouldnt you see more 6 x 9 comps and why do u think they come with tweeters

Originally posted by rouskisman i wanna get the JBL 600.4 i believe that's the number for the fronts., and the JBL 1200.1 for the subs.

those are good choices....it would be quite loud....i really doubt it would crack a window though.....it takes alot to crack a window.....shoot i got 8 JLw6 12's and 4 JBL1200.1's in my truck and i still haven't cracked a window

shit my four 12w3s blew my back window out twice then i decided to sell my subs but i had a single cab truck ?

but i am thinking about geting two 15 inch comp vr s and a box for 379.

Can someone give me some estimates?? I was metered at 145.8 on dash with a lightning audio 1000W monoblock on 2 DD 3512's in a 4.4cu ft ported box .. i was hitting about 1200 watts.. using the same subs and the same box but now i am putting a jbl bp1200.1 on each.. in 2 ohm load.. so, at least 1200W to each.. any ideas on what it should hit? I was estimating high forties.. im not sure i can hit 150 since my subs are in the trunk of my sable (big *** car) ...

well speakn from exp....I just did a L7 15 in a lumina with a bp1200.1 on it, and i wasn't too impressed, on the same note, I'm what I call "a camaro expert", and unless you build a wall, or cheat and go out of the rear hatch/plastics, you really can't make those things loud. If I had to guess, I would say mid-high 140's, but these things can never be speculated! Good luck with it.

And Epicenter is and bass processor that restores lost bass during recording on many songs, it can also aid in SPL makeing your subs do things you could not think they could do with the power they are getting, many db drag competitors swear by them, and a line driver is a audio unit that increases you head units signal voltage that is going to your amps, it helps a great deal in SQ and espically if your amps are far from your head unit, they are an esential piece for audiophiles, check out http://www.audiocontrol.com, I have a couple of their pieces they are pretty much the best at sound processors
