Need Help using MP3 Player in Car

I have a Pioneer DEH-P6400 head unit. It has no auxiliary input, but does have an IP-Bus input for a CD changer. I bought this because the auction said it would allow me to use my MP3 Player:

When I hook up the MP3 Player with this plug nothing happens. There no option for my to use the CD Changer. All I can use are the radio tuner and my head units own CD player.

Is there anything I can do to make this work?

Buried somewhere in one of the menus is likely the option to toggle On/Off the Aux input function for your headunit is going to be my guess.

It doesn;t have an aux input. Just the cd-changer jack.

I searched through all the menus looking for any kind of swirch to that, but could find none.

alright, I got it to work. There was an option. I just needed to hit the buttons on the head unit like a friggin puzzle.

It took Pioneer awhile to email me my forgotten password is why it took me so long to get back to this thread.
