Need Help To Decide On Sub/Amp...

So I'm interested in 3 subs:

FiQ 12''

PSI Platform 2 12''

Skar ZVX-12v2

Which one would you guys who know what's what go with. I'm looking for the alround SQ & SPL

As far as the amp goes, I just don't know. I was looking at the Skar SK 1500.1

I'm really looking forward to hearing what you guys think and recommend.

My current setup is:

Kenwood KDC X995

Alpine PDX F4

Alpine SPR-60C 6.5'' Type R Components

Alpine SPR-69 6X9's

I was just going to go with a type X 12'' and the PDX M12 but people are telling me that there are way better options nowadays

Out of those, I'd go with the Fi. Look into SSA or Sundown also for SQ and SPL subs.

Thank you for your insight. Im actually still awake researching. I just came across the ssa and sundown. I really am torn by all these subs out there. Now im learning more about a few other brands as well so now im torn between:

PSI

DD

SSA

RE

Sundown

...that SAZ 1500 seems to be a nice amp.

There's a bunch of really good stuff out there that isn't in the "mainstream."

Sundown, SSA, SoundQubed, American Bass, Incriminator, Ascendant Audio, Fi. All make really good subs. Out of those, Sundown, Soundqubed, Incriminator and American Bass make good amps.

Digital Designs is good, just highly over priced. Can get just as good/better for cheaper.

RE used to be good, not anymore.

Tantric Sounds makes really good subs also.

I'll look into those for sure, thank you. I know there are a lot of BIG BASS subs out there. I'm looking for a sub that hits hard, has good clean SQ and can hit a wide range of Hz.

My buddies typeX sounds really good but I want something that sounds better as far as clean crisp punch.

C2 Audio, DC Audio and Incriminator Audio all make great sounding woofers that get down.

what's ur budget? if it was me i would go with incriminator or tantric just because i see less people with them. all of tantric subs are considered sql if im not mistaken. incriminator makes awesome spl subs that sound good getting loud.

Both made by the same builder. So there might be a 3-4 week build time. But both solid subs
