Need help, sound barely coming through subs anymore

Over the weekend I was driving around jamming, then all of a sudden my subwoofers stopped hitting hard. I popped the trunk looked at the amp, it is on. Everything is still wired correctly. Weird thing is the sound from the subs come in, then go back out.... but If I pop the trunk and turn up the volume I can still hear SOME sound from the sub but it is not loud. They are just not hitting hard anymore. Not sure what the problem is. Any suggestions? I have 2 kicker CVX's in a ported box on a Sundown 1500. batcap 2000 near the amps at the back. I also have a 4 channel amp for my mids/highs but the sound still comes through them just fine. This is driving me crazy. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

id probly get a dmm and check your voltage at your speaker outputs and imp of the subs

I am going to ri pout my box this week and check the voltage from the outputs. I *think* it is an issue with my rca cables, could be the grounding. It is strange, they hit really soft but sometimes they kick in loud like they should. I have a feeling this is going to be a pain in the arse to figure out
