Hi, can someone advise me on a few issues with my Polk amp setup?
So, the point i'm at now is that I hooked up a Kenwood 258U receiver in my car without checking to see how many preouts it has. It seems to only have one set that can be used for either a subwoofer or a regular set of speakers. I'm worried that I have the wrong deck now because I want to hook up the PA660 and run the front channels to Polk 6.5" speakers in the front and then bridge the rear channel to run to the subwoofer. I'm assuming first, that I can do this type of setup, and secondly that I can get away with one set of preouts??
Alternatively, would it work to use the high-level inputs for the front channel and the preout RCA for the rear? Or should I insist on getting the deck returned and get one with 2 sets of preouts?
One issue is that it looks like the RCA preout can be used to control the subwoofer but that may not work if I use that one preout for all 4 channels.... if i'm understanding it correctly...
