Need help selecting speakers

Alright my friends cousin needs some new front speakers in his 02' chevy extreme. He will be running them off of his h/u for now but he will purchase an amp for them when he can afford it. His price range for speakers is $100-120, now i know about the general brand speakers but i was going to see what you guys would say he could get with $100-120. He needs 6.5"s.

is he looking for just speakers for the front or the rear fill as well? im kinda having the same problem with picking out speakers

just front he doesnt want to wrry bout back so he wanted to get nice fronts.

I have a pair of Alpine Type-S Components speakers barely used. They were ran off of the HU power for about 2 months. $90 and there yours...
