Need help securing sub in trunk!

What do you guys use to secure your subwoofer in your trunk setup? I was thinking of using a couple simple L-brackets and screwing them into the trunk and sub box to prevent moving/theft.

That or use high grade Velcro if it's not a big set up. And with Velcro you can remove it later.

Never thought of that. Only problem is, i'd like to prevent theft, or at least make it harder!

I have always used L Brackets. Easily hide able and secure nicely.

Ive used bungee cords hooked around the trunk hinges. Tacky look but if its the trunk, who cares.

If someone wanted to jack you, they would jack you. L brackets would probably help buy some time but they can just carry some tools around if they were serious about the job. Just don't bump your music near your house or where you're about to park. I have a viper alarm on my car so if someone breaks in, it will alarm my 2 way pager, and I just come out with a bat.

In regards to securing your box in place while driving, velcro works great.

bring that bat with you...i'll bring the .50 cal and blow your head off. pagers are stupid. your really going to run to your car not knowing what is going on around it or who is in it. by the time you get there they are already gone. be real. dont be stupid with your system and all will be just fine.

He probably doesn't want it bouncing around when he stops quickly or makes a sharp turn.
