And remember your amps gains are not a volume control. Find out what voltage your pre-outs are and set the gains properly.

there is also a gain setting tutorial sticked in the amp section I think

did a quick google research on the cd player and it says it only have 2V pre outs.. It's a crappy sony xplod.. but i can't complain for free right? Also want to get a premier deck soon.. i guess i should make sure that it's 4V pre outs acording to what i've read?

well i did a bit of reading in the gain tutaurial... but **** did i ever get confused...

ok so this is what i was able to grab out of it..

since my new amp will be 750 RMS i have to do 750x1=750 (27.39x27.39 = 750.2121)

Soooo... i have to set my gain at 27.39? and which one is it a set if this is correct. thanks
