q3 is a cheater's game.

there are so many tips and tricks that in my opinion take advantages of the weaknesses of the game. . . i mean i wonder if the makers of Quake really wanted rocket jumps to be a possibility? and i dont know half of the sh!t you do REQ

there are no cheats involved.

simply using the stuff in the game to its fullest advantage. this is ROCKET ARENA 3 - not quake 3 mind you. its a mod designed to pit one guy against the other, and rocket jumps (as you might be able to tell) were the basis of the origional mod (back in the previous games). rocket jumps are a staple of RA3... but i use them when they are stragitically good - because they DO kill armor - and amor is important. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

anywho. i dont do anything special. i just aim, and hit you. there are tweaks, and stuff. but nothing important. just stuff that makes you feel comfertable playing your own style. the FOV (field of view) thing you didnt like, i did. it dosnt help me at all, just makes the game appear faster, and everything is smaller - but i can see a bit more.

nothing that i do actually effects the physical gameplay tho.

Hell I was doing rocketjumps in Q2 and nade jumps in Half-Life(that one still freaks people out) and trust me the designers knew about it when they designed it.
