Need help quick ?!!

Ok Im right now ready to buy a Sundown Audio E12 V2 500 watts @ 2 ohms now dont argue with me its not 400 watts its 500 its the V2 So I have an Alpine MRV-M500 already and Im wondering if they will be enough to power to that hog? I know it could prolly take 900 watts but with that amp will it sound good ? And the amp came with a wattage certification saying at 14.4 volts it really is 567 watts @ 2 ohms obviously I dont always run at 14.4 volts because my headlights dim.. So how much power can I expect to really be putting to this sub ? ANY ADVICE WILL HELP!

yes i own that chevelle, also a 69 elcamino, a 87 mr2, a 73 c20, a 66 impala, 83 f150, 98 ranger and a 2002 xtreme blazer. pics of all have been posted here before. i did help in one of the four threads you made. no need in all that.

Yes that is decent power for it don't expect it to blow the glass out but it will get down. Put it in the speced ported box and it will get pretty loud.

To put it in perspective I ran 2 of the e14v1's on 900 rms each daily. Once a month I take a 500 mile trip and bang them all the way. The 12 and 15 have the same moter on the v1 so that should give you an idea of what they will take.

Also I have ran the e15 on as little as 400 watts rms and they did pretty good on that powa. Nuthin to call mom about but decent.
