need help quick...

Looking for a single (12" or 15) sub setup, I was trying to decide between the FI Q vs TC-sounds, the price on TCs went up but now its back down with very limited qty, according to their website, so here are the choices:

1-12 or 15 Fi Q ($259 or $279 shipped)

1-12 TC 3k ($380 shipped)

amp is gonna be 1000-1200w, currently looking at the discontinued diamond D5 1200.1 (~$300 shipped @ http://www.sonicelectronix.com)

box will be ported to specs, i have an SUV, so space is not a factor, looking for a good spl/sq mix as a daily driver.

Question is the extra ~ $100 worth it for the TC? I heard there is problem with the spider coming off, same for the FI, the tinsel leads are a problem as well.

Don't know how long the TC price is gonna last, so any quick help is appreciated!

Out of those two, I'd go with the Fi Q 15, personally.

Have you checked out the SS RL-p 15 at all?

Indeed, however I eliminated the RLP after reading the great 12" challenge result over @ realmofexcursion. The numbers on the FI Q were better, and maybe they got a bad sub, but the RLP wasn't impressive at all.

The only reason I have second thoughts on the 15" Q (or 15" for that matter) is space requirement, yes, i have an SUV, but thinking of trading it in for a nice coupe (Audi S5 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif), tired of hauling around an SUV, so I want something that I can move to a smaller car later on, so the 12" fit the bill.

I used to have a 15" Brahma sealed of JBL 1200.1 and i loved it, looking for similiar result this time around, is a 12" ported FI Q what i am looking?
