need help powering an SI magnum d2

my first choice is a Directed 1100D...i can get it for $419 shipped (to hawaii) but its a little expensive compared to a JBL BP1200.1 or a Tsunami 1100D. so i was wondering, i noticed that ED doesnt sell Tsunami products anymore...does that mean they're all gone? if so, should i get the JBL, or pay the extra to get the Directed? thanks!

Well, a JBL is good for cheap power. Its abilities end there. If you're using an active crossover (via HU or other) it may be a good, cheap option. The Directed, whilst a good amplifier, is slightly over priced. You won't get any more power out of it than the others, the features may be more accurate, but if they are being bypassed it is a moot point. Out of those listed, I would venture and go the route of the Tsunami, as far as bang for the buck.

hm...apparently the only way to get one is to get it used (tsunami), d'oh! hm if SI were to come up w/ an amp soon id prob go for that =D
