Need Help Picking sub setup

First i need a little advice do what you guys would think would be best setup the amp is going to be a jbl 1400.1 1200 RMS @ 4 ohms or 1500 RMS @ 2 ohms

should i get

2 D4 12's 600 rms each run amp @ 4 ohms

or 3 D2 12's 400 rms each run amp @ 3 ohms

i would imagine the cone area+extra motor power would be better?

and i would also like some recomendations on subs too

i was thinking either 2 DC lvl 3's or 2 RE SE X's

or maybe 3 mtx tr55's? idk any suggestions?

If its in a trunk car the larger box from "extra cone area" may not get results like in a suv, it can choke the soundwaves, if your talking ported

also headroom is good, get 2x nice D2 subs and run your 600w subs at 2ohm-1500w and be happy. You'll likely never see 1500watts clamped from it so dont worry

unless you are doing sealed? then 3x12's would prob work fine, even inverting them for better cooling

BTW 3x dual 2ohm subs can only wire to .33ohms or 1.33 ohms

subs are gonna be ported in a trunk and ill be building my box to spec
