ok so ive been upgrading my system in my car a couple times in the past few months. the first one was some 12s infinitys then i switch to directed 1100d amp and two directed sx 15s i stold two of them and i still have one and i kept the amp. i want a good clean system that still hits when i want it to but i want to it to have sound quality. i have the chance to get a jl 12w7 for 325 but i know you guys hate jl. this is for daily driving and i want bass but quality. i dont think the box was built to specs but the guy i had bought the two 15s said he got it costumed but i doubt it idk the box fits in my civic and its sealed. im just wondering if i should just sell the sub and put the money on another sub or what any ideas. im willing to explore other subs but i want this to last at least a year and keep in mind this is in a civic but i will get an suv sometime soon. should i just get the box costumed to the 15 and spend 180 doing it and getting it ported like most ppl say to i know this set up is old but **** did it kick ***

i say get a rockford fosgate sub and let someone costumize a box for optimum sound. i say one 15. unless u want 2 15 then ur gonna be pretty loud. i say the T0 or T1 or u can get the T2 for around the same price for the jl

i was more looking for a nice set of 12s or if theres a 12 good enough then just one. im also open to getting a new amp if something would work better for a combo package i know my amp is old and i know someone that wants it

personally for me i dont like following the crowd and most crowds have 2 12 kickers and they thinks there the **** i like being different and i run one 15 and its way louder then any of my friend 2 12 running 1000 watts.

how much money do u have to spend and how much space?

yeah i had the 2 15s the directed sx series and i beat everybody i just heard the jl 13.5 w7 and i was quite dissapointed. umm if i sell my amp and my other sub to my co worker about 5 to 6 hundo. this is system is in a honda civic ex . my regular alt was a 70 and i upgraded to a 130 and i got another battery in the back hooked up its not a car audio battery just another battery is that bad i read that it was just a sec ago. and do i even need it my honda battery does have a small one in the front or will my bigger alt do just fine. i have stinger 4 gauge from front to back and my battery to amp has 0 gauge and i still have not done the big three

it cant be more than 15 in height length 34-36 width 2 feet maybe a lil more

having an extra battery isent bad it just gives extra power. it would be better buying a car audi battery and the altanator is good but u should think about a car audio altanator that is made for the derastic drops of power from ur amp those cost a good 600 bucks. but i think ull be fine.... and rockford fosgate is like number one in sound quality. so i say get two t0 15 and the t1000 watt amp and ull be just fine

i might be able to still get a fi bl fully loaded for 200 with out box but i just dont know to tell if its really upgraded ive never really seen alot of them but i think that might be a little to high i think ive seen some for cheaper

well u can get a bigger amp altenator i found one for my truck 180 brand new. but thats not for car audio. actuall the setup i tould u about is gonna cost alot the amp is 600 bucks. i say u can get 2 2.5 15 audioque and an amp for around 600 bucks

really would perfer 12s for space wise or does 15's give cleaner power? not really wanna upgrade my car electrical more than that im not gonna get it long maybe a year or so gonna buy an suv then i can do whats needed. i really just want quality at the same time bass

2 12" DCON's in a nicely built box on about 700-800 REAL RMS watts will give you what you want, for a good price. at 800 watts you shouldnt have voltage issues. if you do, then just do the BIG 3

i looked up audique and u can get 2 12 and an amp for less than 500 bucks. and i like 15 just because they push more air and they look cooler than 12 cause ther bigger lol
