whats a good sub out on the market? i like a crisp, clean, hard punch sounding bass.

what can i get within the 500W or 600W RMS range?

and also should i go with two 10's or one 12" sub?

i appreciate the help, thanx!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

we are all just going to state which bandwagon we're on...so just take a choose of any of these...but choose the SE's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

ive also been looking in to eclipse and kicker. do they make anything i can use??
yea i think eclipse might but kicker doesnt exactly go with clean, crisp in my book except CVRs maybe..never heard em

i wouldnt say type r's are "punch sounding" subs like he metioned. from what ive heard the assassins would be good but i havent heard them for myself so i cant say.

well, is the any noticeable difference between 10's and 12's besides the size of the sub?
12's are more efficient, you should really always go with a bigger size if you can. There is a lot of myths about larger subs not sounding as good, this is 100% due to the fact that they are inherently bad subwoofers to begin with. My favorite subwoofers are 18’s, what does that tell you?

Best of luck! There are tons of great subwoofers out there and the bottom line is, I’m sure no matter what people recommend on this board, it will be a good choice. You know me, I would recommend our own brands, but I think it’s more important to educate people about how drivers work rather that just point them to another particular brand. You need to learn and expiernece for yourself. There is no right or wrong.
