stating a budget would help. I like Eclipse units, but some of the popular ones right now are the newer alpine, 9887(?) is pretty popular. If you look in the classifieds there's an Eclipse CD 8454 for sale i believe, great SQ unit. Looking at your sub choice, i don't think you're looking too hard at SPL

K. I'll have to check them out. I have looked but i just walked by them. They have never caught my eye or my ear. but I haven't really listen to them either
