Need help on subs........

Ok i have my mind made up....I want to get either 2 kicker comp vr 12's (400rms-800max) or 2 jbl gto series 12(250rms-1000max).....I need to know whick is better to go with(in a chevy Z71 single cab truck).....I'm looking mostly for spl a little SQ but mostly spl.....Also i want to know if a jbl 600.1 amp will be enuff to get them fully powered up so they can do there best.....(I have a stock alt).....thanks for the help...........//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif :banghead:

if you are going for spl i would do one of the kickers in the biggest box you can build, ported, tuned to like 35hz. i can gaurantee you that one dvc can do better off that amp and with a ported box it will be louder, you dont really have enough room to have 2 12s in a ported box. With the one in a big box it will probably be louder. good luck

id probably go with the kicker comps, they would give u more spl
