need help on new box

Ok i have a 96 gmc 1500 extended cab with 2 ia dp 15 on 3000wrms, and i only did a 145.5. The box now is subs forward and port up on pass side, box is 8.4 cubs net and has 132 in^2 of port area tuned to 36hz. I really want to be in the 150's but still play music good becuase its a daily box. So what would be the best bet for sub and port config to sound the best and get the most out of it on the meater?

any pics of the setup? what amplifier do you have?

I think you'll have to try different things yourself to be sure. Maybe you can try firing both the subs and port toward the roof. If you're trying to hit high numbers you can try tuning your box a little higher. A 150 with a daily box is no easy task...

try subs up, port firing towards the drivers side (probably 3 or 4 6" aeroports), not sure if youll have room to do that though.

maybe you just didnt find your peak frequency? ive had a similar setup (daily box aswell) doing about 147.5-148 sealed up on music which is ok, but nothing spectacular. you'll just have to try different things.

maybe try a smaller box for just 1 sub, and keep trying test boxes and see which is loudest. then once you do, build a box for the 2 subs in that style

i dont have enough room to port out the sides
