Need help on my new stereo

Built into the factory wiring harness. The wires are unlabed to prevent tampering. You may have to remove the dash to find it.

The monitoring equipment is located on the back of the flux campacitor. It is still needed for you vehicle to run smoothly but you can disengage the stereo monitoring equipment.

Yes that may be the serial number but that does not help you. Chevy does not offer support in removing this device.
