need help on my design, might need a builder in 951/909 California area

Hello, i've been thinking of going with a 12in FI Q with an enclosure of 2.5cft @ 30hz and was looking into this: Precision Port 4" Flared Port Tube Kit would this be a good idea? I'm not to sure if i will be building this my self or if i will have soeone build this for me. i've been told something like 18in Height 16in Depth and 20in width should be good nuff, but unsure since my knowledge with this stuff isn't great. i do like the idea of 18in height though since the box would line up to the headrest of my back seats. what would you guys suggest? My goal is to have clean souding bass so i can listen to my trance/hip hopr/rap music this will be in a 01 blazer 4 door (suv) feedback would be great thanks in advance.

Find a builder on here (there are 87493284324 million of em) get a design from them prolly a really small fee around $10.. Then go about building it its not as hard as it seems just take your time and don't rush it.,, i built my first box it was 7.37 cubes for an 18.. i had a lumber company cut all the peices down to size since the MDF board was so big and they also cut my hole since i didnt have a compass to go 16.75 inches in a circle and my jigsaw ***** wang. It will be fun to haha but carpet it i didnt and it looks ugly as **** and im to lazy

That's what i was thinking of doing. i had called the home depot a few days ago and asked them if they would cut me some pieces of mdf if i bought a sheet and the guy had told me that he would aslongas the pieces arn't smaller than 12in.. the thing i'm really concerned about is the design since i've heard that it's all on the design. so i just want to make sure i have some good measurements to take to the chop shop =) thanks

So will i be good with this 2.5cft @ 30hz what will be the differance between that enclosure and a 2.25cft @ 30hz? if i can get a smaller box in the cargo space that'd be great. =)

There won't be a big difference. The larger box will be a little more efficient, which would be good if you weren't planning on running rated power to the sub.

So 2.35cft @ 32hz should be good... i'd like my setup to have some good loud low end bass. i will be throwing 1k rms from a zx1000.1d kicker amp. i was leaning towards 30hz since i was wanting good loud low end bass, various peeps recommended me 30hz tune aswell...

imho it wouldnt be worth going through trouble unless u want to tune lower than 30hz.

difference between 32hz and 30hz is 1 db at 30hz. 1db isnt noticeable to the ear more than likely
