I'm doing a build on the side for fun. My space will allow for a large box so size isn't a issue. I have a 06 F150 and want to throw 4 tens back there ported. Now my question is, should i face the subs up towards the roof of the truck or Forward towards the front seats. What are people seeing works best in trucks?

Here is a pic to give you an idea.

I was told that subs need to load off somthing, facing up subs can load off roof and have more room for the sound waves to travel vs going forward where the waves cant form as long?

There are a few options that work well, from what I have seen: sub and port up, sub forward and port up, and sub forward/up and port to the side. In my experience, doing both up can cause more cancellation issues than the others.
