need help on how to wire up a mtx 9500 dvc 4 ohm

i have two mtx t9512-44 12 inches dvc and they are push terminals for the speaker wire but right on the sides of the push termianls there are the allen wrench type screws for both + and the - side on both sides of the speakers. is it for hooking more subs up? or setting the subs down to 1 ohm? thats how i see it because there aint enough room too hook another speaker wire up to the push terminals

Wow.. I've messed with quite a few drivers and I've never seen that before

Just leave those alone and wire the spring terminals as usual (to 4 ohm load). Those are jumpers for other wiring setups

You can get a DMM for $20 and easily run a few tests to see what ohm's you're actually making if you are paranoid

(digital multimeter, from homedepot/radioshack/etc, you can test voltage, ohms, etc)

that's exactly what the screws are for, instead of jamming all the wires into the spring terminal... you want each at 4 or the pair at 4? you can wire each with coils parallel, the both subs in series. that would be 4 ohms final at the amp

if you're tryin to be right... then ok. where you put the wires on the terminal is irrelevant. if you find you can't fit all the wires into the spring terminal, that's why the screw terminals are there.
