need help on how to wire up a mtx 9500 dvc 4 ohm

i have two mtx t9512-44 12 inches dvc and they are push terminals for the speaker wire but right on the sides of the push termianls there are the allen wrench type screws for both + and the - side on both sides of the speakers. is it for hooking more subs up? or setting the subs down to 1 ohm? thats how i see it because there aint enough room too hook another speaker wire up to the push terminals

sorry for the bad pic...

they're to wire the voice coils in series (8 ohm) or parallel (2 ohm). then use the push terminals to go to the amp.

looks like the type r's. and i believe your right about the use. id check with a dmm just to be sure tho
