Need Help on first high power Setup! Single DC Audio 15"

So I picked up a 15" Level 3 DC Audio Sub D2 Coils. Came in a custom built box built for the sub from a local guy that builds nice quality boxes. Not sure the specs on the box, but it hits nice and low, real clean sounding.

It came as raw mdf I did the paint.

I have two amps right now until I decide/find a new larger sub that can take 3k+ daily.

Hifonics Brutus 2008d, rated for 2k rms (if it actually puts out rated)

Hifonics HiFi 1500 (1500rms@1ohm)

Sub is wired to 1ohm. Stock electrical right now, have 0 cadence audio 0 gauge being shipped right now with a big 3 kit.

What size audio battery should I purchase?

How much can a level 3 15 take in a large slot ported custom built box spec'd out if I feed it clean power?

Which amp is better suited for my current setup?

Thanks in advance.

use the hifi 1500 for now, and grab the biggest AGM you can find and throw it in the trunk. The big diehard platinum from sears or Duracell agms from sams club or autozone are a lot stronger then optima yellowtops.

oh what i meant to say is, run the weaker one until you upgrade your electricals. They are power hogs, so on stock electricals, your gonna have voltage drops and bad clipping resulting from it until you get a decent battery.
