i have a 94 GMC 1/2 ton extended cab. i dont want to lose the room i have behind the seat. i was going to put them in the bed and make the cab and bed into one. but know i heard that it wont matter if i cut a hole or not because bass is felt not heard. i would rather not cut a hole and keep the truck in good condition. but i am unsure if i should or not. what should i do?

it sorta depends what you want from your system. do you want loud...or stupid loud? either way i think you should start small and put a nice 12" sub in a ported box under your back seat. i've heard setups like that that bordered on stupid loud. even two 10" subs in a sealed box under the back seat might be what you are looking for. booting from the bed to the cab is a big project and can't be undone easily if you decide to sell the truck.
