Need Help on deciding which sub to buy

I have 2 choices.

I can buy a JLW6V2 10inch just sub for 100. (i'll build my own box)

Or buy a JLW6V2 12inch in prowedge truck box for 250.

which is a better deal?

will the 12 be alot louder bass wise?

thanks ill prob buy the 10.

just didnt know if the 12 was worth the money and it comes with a box, but i can build a box for cheap.

what do used W6 10's run for?

I've seen em go used for about 225 on the 10" and 250 or more on the 12, and those wedge boxes go for quite a bit as well

i have a 10w6v2 in the recomended .75cuft ported box tuned to 35hz and it actually gets quite loud for a 10" and sounds very good.

^^ It should sound good, iirc the W6 is JL's main SQ driver.

Buy both then lol, sell the 10" and the wedge to cover the cost of the 12" and walk away with a free sub

lol good idea ill prob just buy the ten ill prob end up getting another ten cause I hear its a sql sub and I'm a loud sub guy
