need help...mp3 software

So i bought the Magix MP3 Maker 12 delux

and right now its kicking my ***. My dad wants to put all his older rock cds onto a 2 gig MP3 player i bought him for vacation but i cant seem to figure out how to get them on the MP3 player it self.

Nor could i take 688MB of music an put it onto a CD-R in MP3 format.

Has anyone used this soft ware that could give a helping hand

i do believe they are in a MP3 format im not 100% sure though.

this software sucks so much...i cant even make a playlist. its friggen impossible.

i just want to add all the songs that i put onto MAGIX(about 10cds) onto his MP3 player.

well that soft ware was absolutly GARBAGE...usuing windows media player,,,but i have to re rip ever cd..its only about 40 of them
