Hey everyone, im about to install my first sound system into my car (2000 Honda Prelude) and i was wondering if you guys could help me make a decision.
Well here's the deal, I ordered some Alpine SPR-69C's for my rear deck and some Alpine SPR-17S's for my front speakers.
I plan on ordering a Alpine MRP-F600 to power my new Alpine speakers. But that's going to have to wait until i get some more cash(2-3 months)
But for now my friend gave me a ghetto American Legacy amp(Legacy LA690), and I cant decide whether or not i want to install it in my car.
So my question is, do you think i should install the Legacy amp, even though its shitty, for now. Or would it sound better if I just ran my new alpine speakers off of my head unit until i got my Alpine amp.
My head unit is a Pioneer DEH-3000IB which has 22watts x 4 RMS
Would the Legacy amp make my alpine speakers sound shitty. I've heard that Legacy amps have bad sound distortion.
What do you guys think?
Thanks, I really appreciate your help.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
