Need Help/Insight

Here's the problem: The 12v Outlets(cigarette lighter) no longer provide power.. I've tried using both of the outlets, but neither of them work. I've tried other radars and cell phone chargers.

I think it may have originated from when I was trying to install seat warmers for over the winter. As I was putting the cord into the outlet, it seemed like It wouldn't stay so I muscled it in, it turned of breifly, then I heard a click, and the outlets no longer work. I've gotten two tickets since then. Please let me know what I did, and how I can fix it. All advice/explination is appreciated.

Have you checked the fuse? If it isn't the fuse then youmight have broken something when you forced the plug in there.

the click you heard was probably the fuse blowing or the plug that mounts to the socket poppin off

Where are the fuses located under the hood.. or does it depend on the car? I don't want to disconnect or screw around with the wrong sh*t
