Need help getting subs to hit harder.

they are Q Power Subs and it says on magnet 1200 W Max Power (capabilities or something like that)
Okay, I searched around and it looks like they'll take around 500-600 watts... that's actually not too bad. I'd still think about getting a bigger amp and setting your gain conservatively in case you ever want to upgrade.

if your buying equipment based on max power ratings, your going about this all wrong. I would sell the amp and enclosure and start from scratch to be honest but i'm guessing your on a budget? let us know your budget so we have something to work with.

dont really know what the deal is about wanting flex... its just like those body builders trying to show off. Many people who think their system is loud and have lots flexing on their car, then they get into my car that has very little flex (from being braced and deadened everywhere) and they cover their ears and struggle to breathe. Flexing is wasted energy that could have been more sound and pressure.

My car is deadened from top to bottom. My trunk and doors are rubberized as well. They shut like tanks. But I still get my windows flexing and I can't do much about it. I was more or less letting op know that you can get loud on low power with proper equipment and install.

okay so my budget would be around 250 if possible. i have all wiring so just need new amp and subs. so within that price range what would i be able to get and what should i get as far as amp size and what kind of subs should go with it?

I'm not sure but honestly the flex and rattle is really starting to bother me, I have a lot of work to do before I upgrade my sub stage any more.

and how safe is it to run LED strips off my amp so it would pulse to bass? i heard many things about how bad it is and contrary to that i heard there is nothing wrong with that. i just dont wanna blow my LED's

I'd be more worried about my amp than my LED's...

anyway, at a 250 dollar budget... can't bump it up a little? (Sell yo stuff mane) get a good solid amp first (look in classified and post a wtb thread) look for around 1000 watts...

oh wait... this is a great deal http://www.caraudio.com/forums/amplifier-classifieds/595531-crossfire-bmf-1000-memphis-16-mc-1000-3004-a.html

get that crossfire amp

and an ab xfl from mylows10.. he's got a good price on em' right now.

Also look into c2 audio threatcon 2. Check out carstereogiant.com for those, great subs and great price.

yeah i feel you man, the windows are about the only flex i cant control on my car even with bracing.

Bro, you need to understand, you cant expect to get louder just by replacing subs while using a junk pre-made/store bought/craigslist box. For that budget, i'd do a single 15 in a proper hand built box not a factory built box.

I remember when i made a budget for my system... lol i went over that maybe twice but its a learning process. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif

If your on a budget i say wait until black friday, audioque is gonna have sale on there stuff.
