Alright so I'm driving and playing my system relatively loud. I have had it for about 3 months and absolutely no problems. I suddenly start to hear a strange noise everytime the bass hit though. It sounded like a small pop after the actual bass hit. I was a little worried so when I got home I checked everything out and it seemed fine until I checked my distribution block.
I have a 4-guage running into it and 2 8-guage running to my pioneer amp 125Wx2 for my comps up front and another running to my PG X600.1 with 820Wx1 (it was the line that was way underrated). Anyways the fuse on the line leading to the 8-guage running to my PG amp for my subs hadnt blown or shorted but the plastic over it was melted. I take it this isnt good and maybe is a different kind of short or blown fuse than I have seen, or maybe theres some other problem?? Help please!
