anyways it reduces rattles and could increase spl inside the car. also it can affect sound quality as you will not hear those annoying rattles and if you run midbass/midrange in your doors, a will deadened door will have great effects on that speakers output

most people do the trunk and doors. another area to consider is the roof.

I'm just starting my install and I did the front doors on my truck today. Made a huge difference. I haven't installed my CDTs yet but the stock speakers soudn 10 times better.
